JAZZ FUSION! w/ Mujo Three (October Residency)

About this event

INTRODUCING: I’m very excited to introduce MUJO THREE, a new improv-based trio featuring myself on guitar, @lazy_stonedmonk on bass, @moonjockey_ on drums, and all of us messing about with various electronics 🏔️🍃 To kick off our existence, we’ll be taking over @luckydime.wa every Thursday in October (except the first one). “Mujo Three is a new improvisation based musical project from long time friends and collaborators, Max Stephens (Solo, Fuzz Mutt, Bad Optics, I Will Keep Your Ghost), Seann Groda (Steel Beans, Fuzz Mutt), and Ty Giese (Laser Beam, Steel Beans). With far-reaching influences ranging from jazz & fusion, to ambient, to hardcore, math rock, psych rock and beyond, the trio is a celebration of music, connection, and deep listening, eschewing predictably in favor of spontaneity.” Don’t miss our residency! The shows are FREE. Will it be wild? Whacky? Utterly transcendent? You’ll have to come each week to find out. I am so thrilled to be playing music with these sweet, talented boys. See ya in October! 🍁🍂🎃 - max Stephens
