About this event
Children's Program Room. In the history of Jazz, Blue Note Records stands out because its founders set a standard for the recording of great improvised music that has never been surpassed. From 1939, Alfred Lion and Francis Wolff appreciated, respected, and promoted musicians like Bud Powell, Thelonious Monk, Miles Davis, Sonny Rollins, Horace Silver, Art Blakey, and so many others. The design of their vinyl LP's became the recognizable visual representation of high-quality jazz on record. Join us to celebrate Blue Note!
