About this event
Japan just got closer with a traditional Japanese dance group. No passport needed! This class is for anyone interested in learning traditional Japanese dance Bon Odori, a lively Japanese folk dance traditionally performed during the summer Obon festival to welcome and honor the spirits of ancestors. Participants will also have the opportunity to perform at the New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA) for Japan Fest in October. This event is free and open to the public. All seating is reserved for adults.
