The Jackalopes return this September with a deep dive into High Fidelity – a love letter to records, obsession, bad decisions, heartbreak, and the beautiful mess of being a fully fledged music nerd. WHAT’S A MUSIC-OBSESSED MOVIE WITHOUT RECORDS? Battlesong Records will be joining us for a pop-up record shop! Come dig through the crates, find something to take home, and snag your soundtrack for the night. COSTUME CONTEST: “The Cosby Sweater” Wear your most outrageous knits for a free raffle ticket toward the door prize! Costume contest winner will also get a FREE ENTRY to next month’s screening. ARE YOU AN INDEPENDENT FILMMAKER? Made a short? A feature? A weird little passion project? Something sitting on your hard drive waiting for an audience? Send it our way. We’re always looking for independent films, local filmmakers, and creative work to bring into the Cult and feature at future screenings.
