It's a Beautiful Day for a Kindness Craft

It’s said that Mister Rogers carried a note in his pocket with a simple reminder: “Frankly, there isn’t anyone you couldn’t learn to love once you’ve heard their story.” Inspired by this message of empathy and kindness, we’ll create our own fabric pockets to hold encouraging notes and reminders of joy. We’ll also watch a mini documentary about Mister Rogers to reflect on what it means to be a good neighbor. No sewing experience necessary! This event is part of our One Tempe One Book program.
