Isabelle Lee Natural Preserve Bird Watching Event

This time of year the diversity of bird species will be high at the park. We'll slowly stroll - meander through the preserve and end up over by the Castle Rock Lake. FROM Last Year: (I was in the preserve this morning March 5 and the Agua Caliente Wash is running strong. I saw Bewick's Wren (several) by the water and Rufous winged Sparrows also. There were 6 different species of ducks on the lake!) Take E Tanque Verde Rd east past Catalina Highway to N Bonanza Ave and turn right to the entrance to the preserve which is almost at the end of the road. DO NOT follow your GPS! (you can also come north on Houghton Rd to E Tanque Verde turn left and you'll see a sign for Bonanza Ave where you will turn left) See YOU there!
