Ironstill Residency

Ironstill entertain a run of first Thursdays. These guys are a pretty big deal. Their music calls to the listener from a time long ago. The Hotel, built in 1871, is the perfect place to really hear them. Ironstill is the dynamic old-time duo of Josh Rabie and Russell Pedersen. They combine fiddle and banjo traditions into a unique blend of thunderinginstrumentals and original music–beautiful harmonies honed in coulee country blanket with a spread of down-home songs about the Midwest. Russell is a member of the Wisconsin based touring band Horseshoes & Hand Grenades and Josh captain’s an electric Americana outfit named Echo Black River. Their music is sure to bring a smile to your face and a spring in your step.These two are musicians’ musicians.
