About this event

Join us to explore the rich and beautiful fabric of Judaism. Drawing on both traditional and modern texts, this class explores the fundamentals of Jewish life—Shabbat and holidays, prayer, and lifecycle events—alongside the deeper complexities of Jewish ethics and belief. It’s designed for curious learners at any stage: whether you’ve never studied Judaism before, want a refresher on what you learned in Hebrew School, or fall somewhere in between. This is an in-person class with a virtual option taught by Rabbi JoHanna Potts, an amazing educator in our DMV community. This session will be held on Wednesday nights, 7:30–9:00 PM, November 4, 2026–January 6, 2027. There will be no class on November 25 or December 30. If the cost of this class poses a barrier or if you have any questions, please contact Sonya at sweisburd@edcjcc.org
