Join us for a 6-week, in-person Irish Language course with the incredible Caoimhe Nic Giollarnáith. New York Irish Center happily presents our incredible Irish Language teacher Caoimhe Nic Giollarnáith and an all-new 6-week Fall term. Learn the basics of Irish in a fun, friendly atmosphere and the cozy confines of NY Irish Center. No prior experience needed. Beginner Classes (IN-PERSON) 6-week course (9/30-11/4) $180 ($30/week) Starts September 30th 6-7PM Registration Open Now About our Teacher Caoimhe Nic Giollarnáith is originally from County Kildare. She attended Irish language medium schools and graduated from the National University of Ireland, Galway, with first class honors BA and MA degrees in Modern Irish. She has over 10 years of teaching experience as an Adjunct Professor and recently earned the Certificate in teaching Irish to adults from Maynooth University. Caoimhe currently teaches Irish language and literature undergraduate courses at Lehman College, CUNY and private classes. In the past, she has taught Irish language courses at Fordham University, Manhattan College and Rosetta Stone. In February 2020, she received a Top 40 Under 40 award from The Irish Echo. Caoimhe is a regular guest on Irish language radio shows on BBC, RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta and featured in the IFTA award nominated documentary series GAA USA broadcast on TG4.
