Introduction to Crochet

2nd Floor Do Space Classroom. Always wanted to try crochet? Never knew where to start or how to read the books? We’ve got the class for you! This winter our rotating Do Space Skills class will focus on the basics of crochet. In this two hour class you will learn about different yarn weights, hook sizes, how to start a project, how to complete basic stitches and read an introductory pattern. This is a free event for those ages 13 and up. Registration is required and opens online in the month before the event. All materials will be provided for you to complete the lesson. Please plan on arriving 5-10 minutes before the scheduled start time to check in and get settled. If your plans change and you are unable to attend the program, please cancel your registration online or email cl-managers@omahalibrary.org and we can cancel your registration for you. These programs typically have a long waitlist! All Omaha Public Library locations are wheelchair accessible. Need sign language interpretation or other accessibility assistance for this event?
