Led by Joshua Greene, this beginner-friendly workshop will explore a variety of techniques used to transform simple materials into beautiful, handmade books. Participants will learn essential bookbinding skills including folding, stapling, assemblage, working with adhesives, and other techniques Joshua uses in his own creative practice. Along the way, you’ll create your own hardcover and/or softcover books perfect for journaling and sketching, while also exploring the creative possibilities of artist books. No previous bookbinding experience is needed, and all materials will be provided. Come ready to learn, create, and leave with handmade books that are uniquely your own!
