Intro/Beginner Friendly Disc Golf

Disc Golf is one of the fastest growing sports in the world and for good reason. It's fun, cheap, outdoors and accessible. You can play with a group, or alone and there are courses everywhere. Whether you've never thrown a disc, or have some experience and want to learn more, come join us for a round at Schenley Park. For the first portion, we will go over the basics such as disc selection, how to navigate courses, the rules, etc. and get warmed up by practice putting and driving. Then we will play the Schenley Park Disc Golf Course which is approximately 1.5 miles with some elevation. We will meet at the picnic tables above the Ice Complex. Look for a bald, bearded guy (me). I will provide a loaner disc or two for anyone who doesn't have one. Stretching in advance is highly recommended. Bathrooms are at the beginning and end of the course. There are no water fountains at this location. I understand that things happen, but there is a cap of 15 people, so last minute no shows are highly discouraged. I hope to see you there! -Joseph
