Intro to Knives: Totem Pommel Knives

Lions and tigers and wolves and... dragons? oh my! In this class we will be working with the CNC plasma cutter to cut your choice of profiles out of 1084 high carbon steel. This is a perfect steel for handmade knives and will serve as a great introduction to making your own high carbon tools We will then learn how to grind bevels, how to apply hammered textures, and most importantly, how to heat treat and how to apply a colorful paracord or leather handle. This is a perfect class for a beginner and only takes a single day. Wear closed toe shoes and comfortable cotton clothes.
