Building on what we learned in WOOD150, this class will teach you how to safely operate the Avid CNC, from powering it on to running a complete cut. We’ll cover essential topics like work-holding methods to secure materials, performing tool changes, and setting up the machine for accurate cutting. The class will conclude with each participant running a basic project, reinforcing the skills needed for independent CNC work.
