Intro to Charleston

The Charleston is the signature step of the Roarin’ 20s and an important component of Lindy Hop. This four-week series introduces dancers to a variety of partnered Charleston vocabulary (including 20s, 30s, hand-to-hand, and airplane) and fun variations. This progressive series takes place Monday evenings at the Avalon Ballroom. (Registration closes after Week 2. Drop-ins are not permitted.) Dates: March 30, April 6, 13, 20 Time: 8-9 p.m. Prerequisites: Familiarity with Lindy Hop figures will be helpful, but is not necessary.
