Indulge your sweet tooth with a 1-hour tasting and education session with local chocolate makers! During this class, you’ll delve into the science of flavor, gain insight into the chocolate-making process, and taste your way through various chocolate products (cacao tea, roasted cacao beans, and six different chocolate bars) with Aaron Barthel and Karl Mueller, co-owners of Intrigue Chocolate in downtown Chisholm, MN. 🍫☕🤤 About Aaron: Raised in Minnesota, Aaron has worn many hats throughout his life—he’s been a farmer, a botanist, a brewer, a baker, a chef, and a chocolate maker. He’s passionate about small-batch craft chocolate, and he loves experimenting with fruits, herbs, and spices. About Karl: Karl has an entrepreneurial spirit dedicated to taking on what he describes as the ultimate career challenge—building a sustainable and ethical business in the notoriously difficult industry of craft chocolate. He’s also interested in history, culture, and generally making the world a better place.
