Intermediate Wheel Throwing with Nancy Bulkley

Expand your throwing skills and refine your finishing techniques in this 6-week intermediate-level class. Lids, handles, and surface decoration using slips, stamps, and carving will be covered. We will also continue to focus on building strong throwing skills by working on wheel-thrown forms such as cups, mugs, bowls, and plates. Various glaze techniques and applications will be discussed as well. This class is for students who have already obtained basic throwing skills and are ready to move forward. Class Fee: $245 Early bird discount of $10 is available through August 5. Your class includes: Up to 25 pounds of clay, with more available for purchase. Firing and glazes. 12 hours of open studio practice time, and more is available for purchase. Bring your personal pottery-making tools. Tools are also available from our tool shop.
