About this event
RKMC Room, Skyway Level, S-275. Make a mini puff quilt (4 or 9 patches) to use as a decorative pillow – or, keep going on your own and make a whole quilt! Materials provided. Collaborator: Textile Center. This program is funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. This is an intermediate level sewing class; participants should have some basic experience using a sewing machine. Class is limited to 8 people on a first-come, first-served basis. Arrive a few minutes early to sign up for a spot. The RKMC Room is located on the Skyway level of the library. Access via the escalator or elevator from the Library Atrium. The class will run concurrently with the Minneapolis Central Craft Club program across the hall, so people could participate in Craft Club and work on a different crafting project if the sewing class is full.
