Suggested levels 3.0-3.5 Courts are pre-taped. Balls provided. Paddles also provided if needed. Please finish up your games before 1:55 as the tape needs to come up and tennis lessons often start at 2:00 Note: Payment is required before you play. Checkin and payment are made at the office. If you sign up and do not show up to the meetup, payment is required. If you sign up a guest and they do not show, payment is required by you as well. Advanced beginner to Intermediate descriptions Level 2.5 - Advanced Beginner Advanced Beginner. Makes longer lasting slow-paced rallies. Makes most easy volleys and uses some backhands, but needs more work on developing shot strokes. Beginning to approach the non-volley zone to hit volleys. Aware of the “soft game.” Rating 3.0 - Novice/Intermediate Has a consistent serve and returns medium-paced balls reliably. Able to make all basic strokes. Lacks control when trying to place the ball. Attempts lobs and dinks with limited success. Level 3.5 - Intermediate Demonstrates a broad knowledge of the rules of the game. Gets high majority of serves “in” Able to serve and return serve deep. Hits to the weak side of opponent often. Demonstrates more strategies of playing during games.
