Indigo Dyeing Workshop for Homeschoolers Ages 12-16

Learn the traditional art of indigo dyeing—fold, twist, or bind your fabric to create unique patterns, then dip it into a rich indigo vat to watch the magic unfold. Afterward, tour two of our historic homes to discover who lived there and uncover the fascinating story of how indigo was grown, processed, and used in early Florida. Designed for homeschool students ages 12-16! Step into the past with our brand‑new immersive workshop, crafted for curious teens ready to roll up their sleeves and explore history through hands‑on creativity. What you’ll make: One small towel hand‑dipped in indigo One gift bag (dimensions) folded or wrapped to create a pattern of your choice One cotton T‑shirt dyed using your own design Shopping: At the end of our program, you are welcome to stop by our General Store.
