Indie Play Fest

About this event

Go behind the scenes of game development at Indie Play Fest! Hosted at The Secret Lantern, this unique gathering brings together passionate local indie game developers and the community for an interactive afternoon of play, critique, and collaboration. Whether you are a casual player, a hardcore gamer, or just curious about how video games are made, Indie Play Fest offers a rare look at the creative process. Game creators will be showing off their projects at various stages of development—from early, rough prototypes to polished, nearly finished builds. Why Attend? Play Exclusive Builds: Be among the very first people to play fresh, unreleased indie titles. Meet the Creators: Talk directly with the development teams, ask questions, and learn what goes into building a game from scratch. Shape the Game: Your voice matters! Developers are looking for honest feedback to help iterate, polish, and improve their projects early and often. Event & Age Guidelines Family-Friendly Environment: The atmosphere of the event is entirely family-friendly, and there is no strict age restriction to enter. Target Audience: Please note that the games on display are targeted at a 13+ audience. Player Discretion: Because certain mechanics or concepts require mature problem-solving or specific coordination, individual development teams reserve the right to limit hands-on play-testing to older kids and teens. Drop in, pick up a controller, and make your mark on the local indie gaming scene at Indie Play Fest!
