About this event
Meeting Room. Explore Madhubani Painting, an ancient Indian visual art form rooted in tradition and community. Learn about its history and role in empowering rural communities, create your own Madhubani-inspired wooden photo frame, coasters, bookmarks to take home as a personal piece of cultural heritage. Recommended for kids ages 9 and up, teens, and adults. Kids ages 5-8 are welcome with an accompanying adult. Registration not required. Funded by Friends of the Fall City Library. Reasonable accommodation for people with disabilities is available by request. Email access@kcls.org at least seven days before the event.
