The popular In the Living Room Music Series presents a very special historical encore at the Mary Fisher Theatre on Monday, Oct. 12 at 7:00 p.m., welcoming the talented writers and cast behind the regional hit musical Dead Quilters for an evening of local lore, unforgettable songs, and behind-the-scenes stories. Conceived and moderated by award-winning songwriter Shondra Jepperson — who also stars in the production as Katie Lee — this unique interactive format breaks down the traditional barrier between stage and seating. Attendees will be encouraged to actively engage by asking questions throughout the night, uncovering how Sedona’s colorful, powerful women and iconic historical figures were transformed into a vibrant theatrical experience. Writers Dev Ross (book) and Shondra Jepperson (lyrics and music) will bring an inside look behind their writing, which blends local history, humor, and rich composition to celebrate the remarkable women who shaped the region. Reflecting on the upcoming event, host Shondra Jepperson shares, “Reuniting to share the behind-the-scenes stories of Dead Quilters in this intimate setting is going to be wildly entertaining.
