Welcome to Issaquah’s playground for fearless creatives. Join our growing community of improvisers in Issaquah for a beginning / intermediate class that will teach you and exercise the fundamentals of improvisation! Brand new and returning improvisers are welcome! You’ll work on active listening, acting on impulse, and using your own life to create collaborative stories! You’ll work with your teacher and fellow improvisers to create playful, fun scenes, play improv games, and tell stories that include everyone in the room. Above all else, you’ll practice, in a brave environment, what happens when we say “Yes!” without fear of failure, all while laughing and learning about the games and concepts that Unexpected Productions uses on stages all around the world! Under the guidance of one of our best Unexpected improv teachers, you will practice the skills and games that will help you to: Be a Better Listener Conquer Fears Spark Creativity Meet New People & Make New Friends Become a Better Problem Solver Gain Confidence Fail With Grace (and Maybe Even Enjoy It) Say Yes More in Your Life Get Out of Your Comfort Zone Become a Better Public Speaker Discover More About Yourself …and you’ll have a blast doing it!
