**Our Wednesday FREE workshop, "The Truth in Comedy", is at Louisville Underground and will be taught by Leo Ryan** **The Truth In Comedy** is a chill, low‑pressure improv workshop where we stop chasing jokes and let the funny show up on its own. We’ll mess around with games that get you out of your head, loosen you up, and help you notice the real, honest moments that make people laugh way harder than any forced punchline. It’s all about reacting like a human, not a “comedian,” trusting your instincts, and letting the truth of the scene do the heavy lifting. Expect a relaxed vibe, lots of play, and plenty of those “oh wow, that was hilarious and I wasn’t even trying” moments. Leo Ryan is a writer, Director, Producer & Actor from Southern Colorado who can be seen as “Elyess” in the “Rebuilding” movie, in theatres now. He’s known for his work in creating IN HOLLYWOOD TV, a network for content creators & live improv performances and various venues. Leo was introduced to improv back in 2007, through the Upright Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles where he completed their program and performed with a few different teams. He also studied musical improv at “The Second City” as well as character work at “Groundlings”. Leo credits his experience in improv to improve creative writing & the ability to listen & be “in the moment” Join local newer & experienced players for a fun and relaxed improv workshop that will work on games and exercises that will broaden your improv knowledge & skills! We'll meet at our favorite place, Louisville Underground, 640 Main St in Louisville from 7-9 pm. No experience necessary and beginners are always welcome.
