In Improv 501, you will unlock the toolset for creating more nuanced and advanced characters onstage. Learn how to generate sustainable characters that are FUN to play and easy to return to in a longform set. Prerequisite: Level 401 Student Showcase: Sunday, November 22nd between 5pm-9pm Instructor: Alex Nichols has been improvising since 2005, when he founded his high school’s improv team. In Chicago, he was a member of several Harold teams at iO and performed at theaters around the city including The Playground, the Annoyance, and CIC, where he co-produced a weekly show with his independent team, Law Dog. He now performs regularly at RISE Comedy as a member of the shortform team Laugh Track and as one half of the longform duo Wrong Matt.
