Join us for an evening of potato printing with artist Margrethe Aanestad! Potato printing is a fun, easy craft where we will use fresh cut-in-half potatoes, and carve a simple shape into the flat surface to make a homemade stamp, and press it into paint to create repeated patterns on paper and fabric. During this class we will develop ideas and create our own artworks, after understanding the general technique you can take any artistic direction you would like. This workshop is part of a 3-session series focused on printmaking using various mediums. The class may be experienced individually or as part of a progression, with 3-session bundles available.
