If I Sing | The Workshop in Scranton Saturday, October 3–Sunday, October 4, 2026 | Saturday 4 & 6 PM; Sunday 1 PM If I Sing comes to The Workshop in Scranton, PA, on Saturday, October 3, and Sunday, October 4, as part of the 2026 Scranton Fringe Festival. Performances are Saturday at 4 and 6 PM and Sunday at 1 PM. Written and performed by Martin Jude Farawell, this solo show reflects on the experiences behind his poetry collection Odd Boy. Farawell explores transforming family trauma into art while asking about the costs of finding one’s voice and remaining silent. The show follows a journey across a lifetime, considering how people can create the lives they want while experiencing struggle, love and joy. Directed by David Demke, If I Sing premiered at New York’s 2025 Shakespeare SlayFest. If I Sing brings Martin Jude Farawell’s personal exploration of family, creativity and finding one’s voice to Scranton.
