Identity Performing Arts 5th Anniversary – Celebrating 5 remarkable years of ingenuity, imagination, and shared spirit, on October 18th at the Edlis Neeson Theater at the Museum of Contemporary Art. 200 E Chicago Ave, Chicago, IL Join us for a world‑premiere performance and two returning works charged with memory, tension, and spirit. This evening is designed to awaken the senses, stir reflection, and celebrate the power of dance to reveal the unseen—followed by a celebratory reception featuring delicious savories, sweets, and libations, with the choreographer and dancers. Tickets on sale now: 🎟️ www.identityperformingarts.org KEY EVENT TIMES • Performance: 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm (two intermissions) • Reception: 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm • Program Run Time: 4.5 hours WORLD PREMIERE PERFORMANCE “Untitled Identity” (2026) Choreography by Ginny Ching‑Yin Lo “Untitled Identity” looks at how identity shifts over time—how it expands, contracts, and reveals unexpected layers. Through movement, the piece explores the tension between outside perceptions and inner understanding, offering a fresh perspective on what identity can mean. The music featured in this new work includes a beautiful composition by the German musician Pyrolator. RETURNING PERFORMANCES “Enliven” (2023): A vibrant blend of East and West influences, Enliven celebrates individuality, shared energy, and the dynamic spirit of Identity’s ensemble. “‘Enliven’ by Identity Performing Arts is a unique and uplifting multi‑media experience!” – Sarz Maxwell, Buzznews “Muted” (2024): Muted reflects on communication—what we say, what we don’t, and what we express without speaking.
