ICOM Vigil: Basilica Co-Hosting

Tuesday, April 14, 7:30am Near The Whipple Federal Building The Basilica is co-hosting the April 14th ICOM Vigil with along with the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. Join Basilica parishioners as we gather for interfaith prayer and song, supporting our immigrant brothers and sisters. The Whipple Federal Building is the regional ICE headquarters for a five-state area, and the site of both immigrant detention facilities and an immigration court. The Basilica parishioners are active partners with the Interfaith Coalition on Immigration. Due to recent DHS restrictions on entering the Whipple Federal Building property, the ICOM vigil will be along the sidewalk in front of the MNDOT Central Services Bldg. Park in the Fort Snelling Park & Ride South Lot and walk towards the Fort Snelling Light Rail Station, the vigil should be in the open area by the sidewalk that leads to the station between Crossing Signal and south parking lot entrance.
