ICC Theatre Presents Stop Kiss

ICC Theatre Presents Stop Kiss

Come see ICC Theatre program students in their production of Stop Kiss by Diana Son. This Obie and GLAAD Media Award-winning play explores friendship, love, and the ripple effects of a single defining moment. The story follows Callie, a New York City radio traffic reporter, and Sara, a schoolteacher from the Midwest who moves to the city to teach third-grade students in the Bronx. Both women have boyfriends, but as their friendship deepens, they slowly discover they might be falling in love. Their tentative first kiss in public provokes a violent hate crime, changing their lives in ways they couldn’t have predicted. What begins as a connection between strangers becomes the center of a powerful, surprising journey.
