HUGE NOISE, world class musicianship, mind-bending solos, and uber funky jams Kevin Wong, Darian Gray, Tony Peebles & Bian Sheu 9pm-12:30am / $7 The newest kids on the block, the Huney Knuckles (formerly the Black Star Pirates) combines the left hand keyboard bass wizardry of Kevin Wong with the indomitable pocket of Darian Gray, touring drummer for Booker T Jones for the past 14 years. Founded in early 2021, the Huney Knuckles were birthed during the quarantine at Black Star Pirate BBQ when they teamed up with Grammy winning saxophonist Tony Peebles & Virtuoso guitarist Brian Sheu to bring the joy of live music to one of the first places in town to host socially distanced outdoor live music. Fusing watertight grooves with high energy shreds that will make you want to jump out of your seat, this 4-piece has made a huge noise in the local scene, drawing new fans left & right at every show with their world class musicianship, mind-bending solos, and uber-funky jams.
