While we'll focus on prescriptive non-fiction (like self-help or business), most of the information I share applies to other genres as well. I’ll show you how to set writing goals, create a “syllabus” for your book, and develop an outline. We'll explore the different levels of editing and discuss layout, cover design, and marketing. Finally, I’ll walk you through the three main publishing paths—traditional, self, and hybrid—and the pros and cons of each.
