About this event
Howard Room. Teens and tweens ages 10 are invited to the Blue Hill Public Library on Saturday, October 24 at 2:00 p.m. for a crash course in being a Dungeon Master (DM) in the beloved game Dungeons and Dragons. Four experienced DMs will be in attendance to share their expertise in DMing – Erich Bensheimer, Nick Berry, Brittany Courtot, and Tim Peper, who will teach participants different aspects of DMing, from where to start as a DM to building your own unique world for your players. You never know what will happen. Nick Berry is a librarian and writer who grew up in western Maine. He has been playing tabletop role-playing games (rpgs) like Dungeons and Dragons for over 20 years and DMing for 10, and boasts an extensive board game collection. Nick prefers running campaigns and one-shot adventures in his home brew worlds. He is most proud that at least nine players from other groups he has run have gone on to DMing their own campaigns, two of which he is currently playing in. When not gaming he may be spotted hanging out with his trusty animal companion, Gus Gus. Brittany Courtot was born and raised on the…
