Hotel of Horror | Two Haunted Houses in Saylorsburg Friday, September 25-Sunday, November 1, 2026 | Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays | Hours Vary Hotel of Horror returns to the historic Lake House Hotel in Saylorsburg, PA from September 25 through November 1 on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, with hours varying by date. Two distinct indoor haunted houses create one continuous experience inside the abandoned Victorian hotel. The original Hotel of Horror attraction spans five floors, including historic hallways, guest rooms, staircases, a basement and attic. Live performers, theatrical lighting, fog, strobe effects and extreme sound build an atmosphere rooted in the property’s history. Altered Nightmares takes a different approach with occult imagery, blacklight environments, shifting spaces and psychological scares designed to distort reality. One admission includes both Hotel of Horror and Altered Nightmares. The attractions operate rain or shine with covered wait lines, and free on-site parking is available.
