, Hometown Heroes 5K & Fun Run Run with the heroes who serve our community every day! Join the Forsyth County Fire Department for the Hometown Heroes 5K & Fun Run—a fun, family-friendly event celebrating the brave men and women who protect and serve our community. Whether you’re running, walking, or cheering from the sidelines, come out and show your support for our local first responders! Location: Cumming City Center Events: 5K and Fun Run Beneficiary: B.A.D.G.E. The race will start and finish at the beautiful Cumming City Center, where race-day check-in will also take place. Every Step Makes a Difference! All proceeds from this event will benefit B.A.D.G.E., a local organization that provides financial assistance and other support to first responders and public safety employees facing unforeseen hardships, including serious injuries and family crises.
