Homeschool Hub: Frankenstein a Fairy Tale

Children's Program Room. Cumberland Homeschool Hub is our new offering for homeschooled kids and their families. Activities and dates will vary based on staff availability and resources. This month, the Homeschool Hub will dig into fairy tales and create our own. What is a "mash-up"? Have you ever seen a "crossover" episode or book, like Batman & Scooby-Doo? At this session, Miss Liz and participants will read and discuss fairy tales that are several stories rolled into one, then create our own mash-ups of favorite stories. This workshop is for any homeschool kid who can write independently. Registration is required for planning and space purposes. *Please note this workshop is on a Friday due to staff conflicts and holiday closures* Library homeschool programs are open to all area homeschoolers, and therefore do not subscribe to a specific homeschooling method. These programs provide opportunities and enrichment for families, as opposed to filling a specific slot in individual homeschool curriculums.
