Homeschool Day: Exploring Culture, Math, and Art Together

Calling all families, homeschoolers, and homeschool co-ops! Join us for a hands-on experience exploring the surprising ways cultures around the world weave mathematical thinking into art. Families explore, problem-solve, build, engineer, and create together in the galleries and the Ames Family Atrium. Discover patterns, shapes, symmetry, measurement, and other mathematical ideas hidden in works of art. Use the museum’s collection as inspiration for your own creations.
