Homeschool Book to Movie Club

About this event

On the third Thursday of the month at 11:30 am, we discuss the club's book with a special talk about its movie counterpart. My Friend Flicka, by Mary O'Hara, is about a young boy on a Wyoming ranch who forms a deep bond with a wild mustang filly named Flicka. The story explores themes of responsibility, courage, love and friendship. A limited number of free copies of the book are available to book club members on a first-come, first-served basis. Priority is given to book club members who are in attendance for the book discussion.
