Got salsa skills that’ll make mouths dance? Show us what you’ve got! Join the spicy showdown at our 1st Homemade Salsa Showdown at Bowman Regional Public Library. Whether you're a seasoned kitchen wizard or a culinary daredevil, this is your chance to shake up the taste buds and claim bragging rights! One lucky salsa will snag the coveted People’s Choice Award for Best Salsa. Anyone can enter. One entry per person. Entry Guidelines: Solo or team entries allowed, but just one per party! Homemade salsas only—store-bought? Not in this fiesta! Fresh or canned salsa welcome! Bring on the variety: red, green, fruity, fiery, or mild. Share your ingredient list (required), no need to share your secret recipe. Whip up at least 2 pints for the public taste-test frenzy. Enter by 1:30 pm on Tuesday, September 15th at the Bowman Regional Public Library. Ensure your salsa safety with proper food handling and/or canning. Salsa tasting is open to all! Cast your votes using coins to boost your favorite salsa. Want to sabotage the competition? Drop paper money to knock down their points. The salsa with the most points takes the crown! All proceeds go to the Bowman Public Library Foundation to help support Library programs and projects.
