About this event
A Friday full of Maryville memories While there are meaningful Thursday events like the annual Wall of Fame Induction Ceremony, Homecoming officially begins Friday, Oct. 23, with a packed day of opportunities to reconnect and rediscover College Hill. Alumni registration will be open in Bartlett Hall, while the Student Homecoming Art Gallery will showcase student work in Building B of the Clayton Center for the Arts. On Friday evening, one of the pillars of Homecoming Weekend begins with the President’s Welcome Reception in the William Baxter Lee III Grand Foyer of the Clayton Center, followed by the Founder’s Day Showcase in the Ronald and Lynda Nutt Theatre. The annual celebration will recognize the College’s history, recent accomplishments and the legacies of its alumni, including 2026 Alumni Award recipients Dr. Michael S. Roberts ’85, recipient of the Alumni Citation, and Dr. William “Denney” Zimmerman ’09, who will be given the Kin Takahashi Award for Young Alumni. The Founder’s Day celebration will be capped by a full performance of the Homecoming Choir. Rather than including alumni choir sets throughout the showcase, the choir will perform a…
