Laila McQueen is the stage name of Gloucester-born &r raised Tyler Devlin. Tyler competed as Laila on the MTV reality competition show RuPaul‘s Drag Race in 2016. He went on to perform the world over in countries including Canada, the UK, Ireland, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Australia and New Zealand. In 2020 he became a make-up artist on HBO’s uplifting drag makeover docuseries We’re Here for which he won the EMMY award for “Outstanding Makeup for a Variety, Nonfiction or Reality Program” in 2022 and for which he was again nominated in 2024. Meet your host: Kris Knievil, a beloved fixture of Boston’s drag scene since the late ’90s, Kris Knievil is known for her buxom blonde allure and commanding stage presence.
