About this event

Gift giving for religious and secular holidays is an honored tradition that deserves a fresh perspective. This workshop is an opportunity to create small hanging artworks that can be individualized in many ways to fit any gift giving occasion. The ornaments will be created using a mini-canvas as the base, and enhanced with papers, paint, ribbon, cord, found objects, beads, and other materials. It will be an opportunity to incorporate photos and other types of personal mementos, giving them new life in an alternate form. Level: All levels welcome! No experience necessary. Registration closes December 6, 2026. Material fees are included with your registration to cover the supplies provided in class. Students may want to gather/purchase additional materials for class (see the materials list below). This list will also be provided with the registration confirmation email.
