Holiday Card Letterpress Printing Workshop

Join us for an afternoon in the new Carriage House Print Lab at the historic Joslyn Castle as we learn the heritage craft of letterpress printing together! Attendees will be able to utilize the Castle’s collection of antique and vintage printing presses, metal and wood type, image blocks, and more to create unique holiday cards to share with family and friends. Workshop includes guided instruction from book artist, writer, and UNO Book Arts and Papermaking Professor AB Gorham. No prior letterpress printing experience is required. Each attendee will leave with 10 holiday cards and envelopes created during the workshop. Attendees who complete the workshop will be considered “Print Lab Certified” and invited to return for future free open studio hours at future dates. This workshop is for those 16+.
