Opening Reception: Hmong Printmaker Collective

Join us for an evening celebrating the creativity and cultural perspectives of the Hmong Printmaker Collective, featuring artists Glory-Hnubci Xiong, Pa Na Lor and Shoua Yang. Stop by to explore their work and discover how each artist uses printmaking to express identity, tradition and contemporary influences. Xiong is a printmaker who expresses her Hmong culture and faith through the printmaking process. Lor creates multimedia prints using woodblock printing, embroidery and textiles. Yang’s work features abstract narratives inspired by Hmong folklore, mythology, cultural practices and spiritual beliefs, blended with elements of pop culture. In this inaugural exhibition, the artists showcase the diversity of printmaking and explore how artistic processes shape cultural interpretation. Come experience the unique perspectives and stories each artist brings to the medium.
