History Through Headstones - Revolutionary Connections: Celebrating Descendants of Those Who Defined Our Nation

History Through Headstones is an annual event put on by Albany Regional Museum in partnership with the Riverside Cemetery Association. In this program, docents share the life stories of people who are interred at the Riverside Cemetery. This year, in alignment with the America 250 celebrations going on across the country, the event will feature people who are descended from Revolutionary War patriots. Their ancestors founded the nation, and their families have continued to shape the United States, Oregon, and Albany across the last 250 years. This event is free and open to the public, so no ticket reservations are necessary. We can’t wait to see you there!
