History Scavenger Hunt (FREE)

Kids are invited to this FREE event to explore the Phelps Mansion museum in this history-themed scavenger hunt. Kids will receive cardstock upon entry and be given a brief introduction to the mansion and the premise of the event. They will also receive their first hint, which will lead them to one of the rooms. The order of the rooms are: (1) entrance, (2) woodworking room, (3) master bedroom, (4) dining room, (5) solarium, (6) parlor, (7) library, (8) ballroom. Upon arriving at the room, kids will learn more about each room and receive a stamp . Then, they will give the hint to the next room and get another stamp to eventually make a griffin. Once the griffin is complete, kids will finish in the ballroom where they may get snacks (chips) and color in their griffin. This program is run by the Emerging Leaders Program at Binghamton University in partnership with the Phelps. No RSVP necessary! Saturday, November 7th 10AM-1PM, but families may arrive at their leisure!
