HISTORY ON FOOT Germans from Russia Walking Tour Join us for a fascinating journey through Hastings’ east side as we explore the history of the Germans From Russia families who settled here in the 1880s and 1890s. On this FREE 2-hour walking tour, we’ll visit historic homes, churches, and neighborhood grocery stores while uncovering the stories of the immigrants who built vibrant communities and helped shape Hastings’ cultural identity. Guided by museum staff, this tour offers a closer look at the traditions, faith, resilience, and everyday lives of the families who made western Hastings their home.
