History of the Founding of Earth Day

Join speaker Edward Dodson for a short presentation on John McConnell, the founder of Earth Day, followed by a discussion of the challenges John McConnell put to us in our treatment of the planet. About the presenter: Dodson holds a Master of Liberal Arts degree from Temple University, and teaches courses in history and political economy at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute hosted by Temple University, and the Learning Is For Everyone program hosted by Rowan/Bcc. Dodson is also on the faculty of the Henry George School of Social Science headquartered in New York City.
