Attention military history buffs and those interested in miniature games: Join the Historical Miniatures Gaming Society, Great Lakes Chapter for an afternoon of tabletop miniatures gaming at the Ohio History Center! Learn about battles important to the history of Ohio and put yourself in command. Ask yourself if you would have done anything differently if you were in the general’s shoes and see how your battle plans work out! If you can’t make it this time, no worries. We will have another scenario to play the first Sunday of next month!* UPCOMING GAME SCHEDULE Oct. 4: World War One Trench Warfare- Join us for realistic waterlogged trenches, cratered ground, bunkers, a muddy No Man’s Land, barbed wire and much more in this immersive WWI battlefield where 28mm German and British forces, clad in cold weather gear, will struggle for control of this wintery Western Front trench line. Join game master Adam Sharp of Amanda, Ohio for this fun and interactive experience! Nov. 1: Stone Age Hunt for Megafauna - Join us for a traditional hunt – for Ohio Megafauna of the early Holocene era! Using a lightly modified rules set from Wiley Games, your hunting band of 54mm miniatures will try to get some meat for the feast and maybe salt some away for winter! It's Man against Beast in the Stone Age!
